later date.
Maximum printer width 1980mm ( 80” ) with the printing to be done on outside of product.
Sticky back rubber plates to be used having a total thickness of 3.15mm.
To assist in aligning the printing plates, the plate roll will have seven longitudinal scribe lines equally spaced at 90 degrees apart and four circumferential lines spaced at intervals equal to the slit web width.
For use with water based inks.
Frames, Spaces and Miscellaneous
Fabricated steel frames mounted on a cast iron base with hold down bolts and levelling screws. Heavy duty steel spacers and idling guide rollers.
One fixed Mount Hope bow roller to remove wrinkles prior to printing. Printing of bow adjustable when stationary.
One pair of steel draw rolls with one roll plain and the second covered in replacable gripe tape. Rolls are driven through a variable pitch sheave and have an adjustable nip with a spring loaded release feature to prevent damage if a wad passes through.
Manual adjustment of transfer and impression rolls with quick release mechanism to separate rolls.
Separation of impression roll from plate roll and transfer roll from plate roll during shutdown is achieved by an eccentric mechanism which does not disturb the fine printing adjustment. Separation of impression roll from plate roll disconnects the drive gear and makes the printer inoperative.
